Provided the ice stays thick enough, Ice Cutting Demonstrations will take place at Carriage Hill MetroPark Saturday, from 12-4pm at Cedar Lake. Learn how ice was cut, stored and used on a farm in the 1880s. Please note: While temps are currently cooperative, if the depth of ice changes over the week this program will be cancelled. Please check in the day before the program so you can know before you go. Thank you for your patience while we assess ongoing conditions with the safety of our staff and volunteers in mind.
