Ice Breaker Baseball Camp
Calling all Southwestern Central School District new and continuing baseball player ages 8-12! We’re hosting an Ice Breaker Baseball Camp to help you hone your skills and ignite your passion for the game.
Here's the scoop:
• Who: Baseball players ages 8-12 (Non-travel players first, travel players welcome if space allows)
• When: Saturday, April 27, 2024
o 8-9 year olds: 9 AM - 10:30 AM (1st Base Dugout)
o 10 year olds: 10:30 AM - 12 PM (3rd Base Dugout)
o 11 year olds: 3 PM - 4:30 PM (1st Base Dugout)
o 12 year olds: 4:30 PM - 6 PM (3rd Base Dugout)
Spots are limited! We'll take the first 20 players in each age group. If there's more interest, we'll create a waitlist and offer an additional camp date. * To ensure a fun and engaging camp experience, we may combine age groups if registration is low.
• Where: Firemen’s Field (Turf Field), 200 E. Summit Ave., Lakewood, NY
• Cost: $40 per player (Venmo @Troy-Bouckhuyt or cash on the day)
What to Expect:
• Station-based drills: Get tons of reps on fielding, throwing, hitting, and pitching!
• No wasted time: Keep moving and learning with minimal downtime.
• Experienced coaches: Learn from coaches in the Gladiator Travel Program.
• Fun and positive environment: Develop your skills and love for the game!
Our Ultimate Goal:
To elevate the Southwestern Area baseball programs by boosting players' knowledge, skills, and passion for the game!
Invitation to SW Little League Coaches: This camp will be run by current coaches from the Gladiator Travel Program, but they encourage you to come and:
• Work with players and gain valuable insights about them.
• Learn new drills and coaching techniques.
• Network with other coaches in the league.
