The Course is Accredited by IHPM (Institute for Health and Productivity Management.)
THE INTERNATIONAL COMPREHENSIVE ACCREDITATION FOR COLD EXPOSURE PRACTICAL AND THEORETICAL TRAINING - THE FIRST OF ITS KIND IN ANZ.
By providing a variety of tools and techniques to support teachers, trainers and cold enthusiasts, we will ensure you are fully prepared and supported to facilitate cold-water therapy.
WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH THE ICE BATH INSTRUCTOR COURSE:
-Thorough education from Mark on how to become an ice bath instructor, and the necessary knowledge to build your skills. There is alot of theory and detailed explanations of all aspects of cold-water immersion, referencing peer-reviewed studies and the science behind the benefits (and risks).
-Detaied explanation of the risks and contraindications and particulaly those asociated with pregnancy, women's cycles and menopause.
-Continuing ongoing support from Mark and Dean following the course.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN DURING THE COURSE:
-Learn about the 3 primary pillars of cold -water Immersion.
-Managing and influencing stress (including how and why to optimally breathe before the Ice bath and how to manage your client’s posture and breath during the cold water experience.)
-How to masterfully guide others in nervous system regulation practices.
-Understanding the science behind cold therapy, benefits and contraindications.
-How to market and run events with ease and the building blocks to understanding how to facilitate an immersive ice bath event.
-Understanding your clients, breathing before and during the cold water, environment and managing unexpected events.

Please Note:
For the accreditation you are required, post-course provide a number of items:
1) 2 minute video of you explaining the benefits adn risks around cold-water immersion.
2) Video of you guiding a client through an ice bath.
3) Provide a copy of your first aid cetificate and insurance.
