The 6th Annual UPMC Ice Art Festival in Downtown Carlisle will be held on February 4, 5, 6. Hosted by the LoveCarlisle /Downtown Carlisle Association, over 70 sculptures will populate historic downtown for your socially distanced browsing and picture taking fun. Along with the sculptures you can enjoy a few new contactless activities, refreshments, and experiences hosted by our sponsors. The festival will begin with an unveiling the UPMC Throne on Friday, February 4 at 5 pm at the Old Courthouse on the Square. At this time volunteers across downtown will unveil all the sculptures including the Ice Bar at the Comfort Suites.The sculptures are slated to be in front of sponsoring businesses throughout downtown. With COVID-19 precautions in place, sculptures will be at least 20 feet away from each other, guests are encouraged to wear a mask and maintain proper social distancing.
With COVID-19 precautions in place we are inviting everyone to dine and shop in our stores and restaurants. You can scan the QR codes at any of our sculptures and posters around town and download the ice sculpture map.
