About this Event

ICB Connect: Buddhism & Ecology

Join us for an insightful talk by Prof. Xue Yu as he explores how Buddhist teachings can inspire a more compassionate and sustainable relationship with the natural world.

Buddhist philosophy reminds us that all forms of life are deeply interconnected. As humanity faces climate change, biodiversity loss, and environmental degradation, the principles of compassion, interdependence, and ethical responsibility offer valuable guidance for responding to today's ecological challenges.

In this session, Prof. Xue Yu will examine how Buddhist perspectives on ecology can shape the way we relate to nature, encouraging mindful living and compassionate action for the well-being of both people and the environment.

Whether you are interested in Buddhism, environmental sustainability, or contemporary ethical issues, this talk offers fresh insights into how ancient wisdom can help address modern ecological concerns.
