IBM Presents Juneteenth Social Hour

Get ready to enjoy networking with the finest employees at Microsoft, Amazon, HPI. HPE, ExxonMobil and many more. In honor of Juneteenth, we're hosting our happy hour at a Black-owned business, The Weekend. When you arrive, grab our signature drink "Freedmen's Drink" and enjoy the Black History/Juneteenth Trivia icebreaker. There will be prizes for our history buffs. We will also have a quick history lesson on Juneteenth and then more networking. There will be food available via food trucks. This is an event you don't want to miss!

Itinerary:

• 5 PM: Arrival/Check-in/Grab nametag

• 6 PM: Welcome w/ a brief “history lesson” from someone on the importance of Juneteenth in Houston/Galveston

• 7PM to 8:00: Social/Networking Hour

• 8:00 PM: Close of Event/ DJ starts!
