IATW's sponsored walk for Mission With a Vision

We will be walking a circuit from Piccadilly / Regent Street in Central London seeing sights like Horse Guards Parade, Downing Street and Westminster Abbey. Everyone who registers will receive general information for the day, map and sponsor form. If you request an event pack you will receive a t-shirt and drawstring bag as well.

Unable to join us on the day – no problem, we welcome you to give towards the mission on our just giving page (linked below). We are helping to raise funds to upgrade and expand the safe house at MISSION WITH A VISION through Mission Direct.

Over the past decade, Mission With A Vision has helped nearly 1,100 Kenyan girls seeking escape female genital mutilation (FGM) and childhood marriage. Founded in 1997, the Mission provides a safe house for teenage girls as well as educational scholarships. Whenever possible, efforts are also made to work with community elders to seek reconciliation with the girls’ families, a delicate task that frequently requires months of negotiation and counselling.
