Innovative Assistive Technologies and Accessibility in Higher Education
Call for Oral Contributions
We are pleased to invite researchers, practitioners, and experts to participate in the international workshop “Innovative Assistive Technologies and Accessibility in Higher Education”, which will take place on 12–13 November 2026 at AGH University of Krakow, Kraków, Poland.
About the Workshop
The two-day scientific workshop is dedicated to the future of accessible higher education and the development of innovative assistive technologies supporting inclusion and equal participation.
The event will provide a platform for exchanging knowledge, research findings, practical experiences, and innovative solutions developed in different educational and technological contexts.
The programme will include keynote lectures, thematic sessions, poster presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities, creating a space where research meets practice and implementation.
The workshop is organised by AGH University of Krakow in cooperation with the Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe (AAATE).
Call for Contributions
We invite submissions from:
early-career researchers,
experienced scholars,
practitioners,
technology experts,
designers,
representatives of institutions and organisations working in the field of accessibility and assistive technologies.
We particularly welcome contributions related to:
accessibility in higher education and support models for students with disabilities,
assistive technologies and technological innovation,
applications of artificial intelligence in assistive technologies,
universal design and inclusive education.
Submissions may present:
original research results,
case studies,
examples of good practices,
innovative scientific and applied solutions.
