Liverpool songwriting legend Ian McNabb returns to the world-famous Cavern Club for a special intimate afternoon performance.Best known as the founder and lead singer of The Icicle Works, Ian McNabb helped shape the sound of the 1980s with timeless hits including Love Is A Wonderful Colour and Whisper To A Scream (Birds Fly). Alongside his band’s success, McNabb has enjoyed a critically acclaimed solo career spanning more than 30 years, earning a Mercury Music Prize nomination and collaborating with artists including Ian Broudie, R.E.M.’s Peter Buck, Ringo Starr, Crazy Horse and The Waterboys.
This Cavern Club show offers a rare chance to see Ian McNabb up close, performing classic Icicle Works material alongside highlights from his extensive solo catalogue, in one of Liverpool’s most iconic live music venues.
