Nebula Performances Society reunites three-time Grammy Award-winning tenor Ian Bostridge, CBE, and pianist Wenwen Du at the Vancouver Playhouse after ten years for an evening of art song featuring the music of Hugo Wolf and Benjamin Britten. One of the most influential recitalists of our time, Ian Bostridge is celebrated worldwide for his profound musicianship, intellectual depth, and definitive interpretations of Lieder and art song. "Bostridge makes you think anew about the music in hand, interpreting all these songs asmuch through the mind of the poetry as that of the composer" (Gramophone). Wenwen Du is known as much for her "superb" pianism (The New York Times) as for her dedicated mentorship and artistic leadership at Vancouver's Nebula Performances. New York Classical Review wrote, "Accompanists are expected to be sensitive... Du was indeed sensitive but also forceful-her playing was more duet than recital." Concert sponsor Alice Chee.

Wheelchair and companion seating is configured with a 1 to 1 arrangement in the Orchestra Level (Right side). Companion seats are located in the row directly in front of the wheelchair area. Additional companion seats may be purchased in sections nearby.
Seating is located in a designated area at the top of Orchestra Right side sections with wheelchair spaces in Row 15 & the companion seats in Row 14.
The main lobby is completely accessible with entry from the main entrance doors. Wheelchair accessible washrooms are on the orchestra (main lobby) level.
Depending on show configuration and production staging, some seats may not be open for all events.
Accessible parking available with an accessible parking decal. To reserve call (604) 665-3072 and have your ticket info ready (show, date & seat location) at least 24 hours in advance. Reservations may be placed Mon-Fri 9am - 4:30pm. For weekend & Monday shows, call by Friday at 4:30pm.
