#IAmRemarkable is a global movement that empowers everyone, including underrepresented groups to celebrate achievements while challenging social perception around self-promotion.
In this interactive session, you will participate in group discussions and exercises to increase your comfort and confidence in self-promotion. Let's discover your remarkable!
During this 90-minute workshop we will:
• Reflect on our own limiting beliefs on self-promotion.
• Share data and research regarding self-promotion and bias.
• Go through the main exercise to help you identify and share your achievements.
• Wrap up with discussion and take home exercises.
About Facilitator:
Amanda Morey is the Founder and Owner of NewThink, a business consultancy established in 2014. With a passion for driving business success through innovative thinking, Amanda
specializes in creating and facilitating team workshops aimed at accelerating results. Through her program, “Level up your Team” Amanda works to unlock individual and team superpowers. She leverages the HBDI® survey to identify individual and team strengths, fostering a culture of whole-brained thinking to enhance communication, collaboration, change management, decision-making, and problem-solving.

Drawing from over twenty-five years of experience in the technology, finance, education and telecommunications industry, Amanda has held diverse roles in sales and operations within
Enterprise and Government sectors. Her expertise spans hardware, managed services, infrastructure, and SaaS across various industries. Amanda embraces innovative and diverse
thinking and technology as a catalyst for building teams that work better together. Amanda has spearheaded transformative strategies, governance frameworks, and sales programs,
delivering tangible value and driving growth for the organizations she has served.
She remains attuned to future trends, applying forward-thinking approaches to address critical business challenges in the Oceania market.
As a staunch advocate for Women in STEM, Amanda chaired the StrongHer Oceania program at Nokia, spearheading Diversity and Inclusion initiatives at Nokia to ensure equal opportunities for women and girls in STEM fields. Committed to nurturing future talent, she actively mentors’ students through programs at Macquarie University Business School and the UTS Lucy Mentoring program.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business (AIB). She is an accredited HBDI® thinking coach and IAmRemarkable Facilitator.
Outside of her professional endeavours, Amanda resides in Sydney enjoying its beauty and outdoors lifestyle with her husband, two teenagers, and their beloved dog, Buddy.
