Saturday, March 15 and Sunday March 16, 2025, from 9:30 am–3:00 pm (MST)
If this workshop captures your interest, you probably realize that poetry is a part of our daily lives. We begin this intensive Poetry Weekend on Saturday morning by reading poems (selected and your favorites) and then explore writing poetry in open and fixed forms. Most importantly, we will share our work to strengthen our poetic voices.
The workshop will include a discussion of various poems, followed by a focus on writing and sharing your work. We will create at least three new poems during our Poetic Weekend together. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided (included). See note below: this is an in-person only class with no online or recorded version available.
