About this Event
If you've written or are writing a screenplay or pilot, first of all GREAT! If you're curious about next steps, join Chicago Writer/Director/Producer Patrick Webb to learn what to do with your script. This workshop will cover plotting your next draft or rewrite, seeking professional feedback, producing and filming your own project, seeking management and representation, and taking your project out on spec.
Patrick Webb has developed a pilot with Comedy Central and a feature script for ViacomCBS. He has recently developed projects with Seth McFarlane's Fuzzy Door and Issa Rae’s Hoorae. He is the co-creator and star of Special Skills, winner of the Just For Laughs Montreal’s Eat My Shorts Competition, where he earned a development deal with Kevin Hart's LOL Network. He recently co-directed the feature film DINER! slated for a 2026 release. He is currently in pre-production for Chris Kattan's feature comedy Comeback Kings, which he will direct and produce. He has worked for The Second City Chicago and performs regularly at Logan Square Improv and CIC Theater.
