This March, I Scream Social is so thrilled to spotlight the wonderful students and faculty from the Austin Community College Creative Writing Program! Go River Bats <3! This month we’re featuring Antonia Ortiz, Gigi Albrittain, Sarah R. Stockton, and Ysella Fulton-Slavin!
Presented by Host Publications, I Scream Social is a monthly feminist reading series and ice cream party that takes place at Alienated Majesty Books. We aim to celebrate and empower historically marginalized writers and share incredible literature and diverse perspectives to an Austin-area audience. Hosted by Host Publications editors Annar Veröld & Claire Bowman! Free & open to all!

GiGi Albrittain is a Dallas raised poet, singer, songwriter, and actress. She is a current student at Austin Community College pursuing a musical theatre degree. She has self published her poetry book, Luna Bella, on Amazon, and hopes to become a better writer.
Sarah R. Stockton is a poet and hybrid-genre writer. She holds an M.F.A. from CalArts and teaches in the Creative Writing and Composition and Literary Studies Departments at Austin Community College.

The open mic is reserved for writers from historically marginalized communities.
Because slots are limited and we want to make room for everyone, we ask that you wait until 7:10 to sign up if you joined us for the open mic the previous month.
