"I Remember Christmas" is a radio play adaptation of two Truman Capote short stories by Bill Heavner. A radio play is a performance of a story acted out through voice, music, and sound effects, inviting the audience to imagine the scenes.The centerpiece, "A Christmas Memory," is a poignant tale set in the 1930s, recounting the heartwarming bond between a young boy, Buddy, and his elderly cousin as they bake fruitcakes for distant acquaintances. Through their cherished tradition, the play explores themes of nostalgia, friendship, and the bittersweet nature of memory.
