About this Event
It's 2021 and Terry Wolfe is a lonely washed up rock photographer living out the last of his mid-life crisis years in Brighton. His wife disappeared 20 years prior and has never been seen since, he can't find work, he's politically out of touch with the zeitgeist and he has an addiction to social media. When popular new platform Mirror arrives, Terry signs up and in no time he turns from zero to hero. Or does he? Mirror is relentless in its unflinching true life portrayal of Terry's past, which involves a dodgy ethical background with photography.
Through Mirror, we see Terry manipulate Angelica Franks into attending a Who concert with him back in the 90s, but he can't escape the fact that their ensuing relationship is built on deception, a deception that wil ultimately set his marriage unravelling and lead him to lose Angelica forever.
Pete Townshend gives Terry one chance to repair the damage, but where to begin? Terry runs full steam into the inevitablity paradox, a theory of time travel that dictates that the future cannot be altered.
I Might Be Dead is a scrapbook rock opera set entirely to songs by HK indie band The Sleeves. The story is told through a photograph animation style which matches with the song lyrics.
