Greetings to our Cane community!

After a huge event last year, and being able to introduce our rum lovers to the emerging Australian independent rum scene, we are stoked to announce a plethora of craft/ indy rum brands, that have leaped onto our radar. The best part about our job is that we get to share it all with you!

This year on March 19, the team from “Well That’s Neat!” - is returning bringing their highly anticipated 'I Hart Rum Festival' to Whitehart Bar, Melbourne. This year we will encapsulate more of a “Boho” style (socially unconventional in a way regarded as characteristic of creative artists). Our festival will be a means of pushing new and creative cane spirits to the forefront.

I Hart Rum will partner with some of the best local and international alcohol brands to champion our thriving rum industry. Consumers will enjoy immersive tasting experiences (meet the maker), Caribbean cocktails, Jamaican food, a Fever~Tree Highball zone, a tiki mug store, and free masterclasses all day- culminating in an expert rum panel- championing new and innovative rum-making styles.

There are options across 2 sessions for a ticket. The $40 (plus tax) ticket, which is available via Eventbrite- allows guests to choose between a 12:00 or 16:00 session.

With over 25 distilleries pouring up to 80 different rums from all across the globe, ticket holders will be able to experience Agricole Rhum(s) from the western Caribbean, white rums from Venezuela, spiced rum from Fiji, as well as dark rums from Dromana. From entry-level to rum aficionados, there truly will be something for everyone as we present you with a fun and inclusive event. Keep an eye on our socials as we will be hosting a range of guest bar shifts, pop-up events, and classes in the lead-up to the main event.
