𝙀𝙉 • I H8 Camera is the improvisational collective led by Rudy Trouvé, the ‘master of ceremonies’, who, for over 15 years, has been guiding an ever-changing line-up of top-class musicians on a wild journey through rock, jazz, folk, krautrock, no wave, post-punk… Unrestrained improvisation based on a few brief cues... innovative, rebellious, abrasive and often brilliant. This double album was recorded during a five-day residency at the famous L’Archiduc club in Brussels in May 2023 with an exceptional line-up comprising Rudy Trouvé (guitar, vocals), Stef Kamil Carlens (bass, vocals), Matt Watts (vocals), who passed away in 2024 and is deeply missed, Teun Verbruggen (drums), Teuk Henri (guitar) and Jef Mercelis (Korg MS 10). With special guest appearances by Roland Van Campenhout (guitar), Catherine Graindorge (violin), Rodrigo Fuenteabla Palavicino (guitar), Florian Guibert (traverso), Lennart Van Praet (Korg Poly Six) and Seppe Gebreurs (grand piano). An intense and adventurous album, with super-hot CBGB vibes in Brussels! Produced and mixed by Stef Kamil Carlens.

𝙁𝙍 • I H8 Camera est le collectif d'improvisation de Rudy Trouvé, « maître de cérémonie », qui, depuis plus de 15 ans, dirige une formation sans cesse renouvelée de musiciens de haut vol dans une folle aventure à travers le rock, le jazz, le folk, le krautrock, le no wave, le post-punk... Une improvisation sans limites basée sur quelques brèves indications... innovante, rebelle, abrasive et souvent très brillante. Ce double album a été enregistré lors d'une résidence de cinq jours au célèbre club L'Archiduc à Bruxelles en mai 2023 avec une formation exceptionnelle composée de Rudy Trouvé (guitare, chant), Stef Kamil Carlens (basse, chant), Matt Watts (chant), décédé en 2024 et très regretté, Teun Verbruggen (batterie), Teuk Henri (guitare) et Jef Mercelis (Korg MS 10). Avec participations spéciales de Roland Van Campenhout (guitare), Catherine Graindorge (violon), Rodrigo Fuenteabla Palavicino (guitare), Florian Guibert (Traverso), Lennart Van Praet (Korg Poly Six) et Seppe Gebreurs (piano à queue). 𝙉𝙇 • I H8 Camera is het improvisatiecollectief van Rudy Trouvé, de ‘ceremoniemeester’, die al meer dan 15 jaar leiding geeft aan een steeds wisselende bezetting van topmuzikanten in een waanzinnig avontuur door rock, jazz, folk, krautrock, no wave, post-punk... Een improvisatie zonder grenzen, gebaseerd op enkele korte aanwijzingen... vernieuwend, rebels, schurend en vaak briljant. Dit dubbelalbum werd opgenomen tijdens een vijfdaagse residentie in de beroemde club L'Archiduc in Brussel in mei 2023 met een uitzonderlijke bezetting bestaande uit Rudy Trouvé (gitaar, zang), Stef Kamil Carlens (bas, zang), Matt Watts (zang), overleden in 2024 en zeer betreurd, Teun Verbruggen (drums), Teuk Henri (gitaar) en Jef Mercelis (Korg MS 10). Met speciale gastoptredens van Roland Van Campenhout (gitaar), Catherine Graindorge (viool), Rodrigo Fuenteabla Palavicino (gitaar), Florian Guibert (traverso), Lennart Van Praet (Korg Poly Six) en Seppe Gebreurs (vleugel).
