I CAN HELP! Dog Safety and First Aid for Kids

Looking for something for your kids to do on the next Provincial PD Day that is both informative and fun? Give your kids the skills to take care of their canine companions and help in the case of an emergency!

This 3-hour course is designed for children 5-12 and covers how to be safe around dogs and how to help in an emergency. 

Children learn about basic dog care including feeding exercising and grooming. They will also learn how to read a dog's body language identify signs of illness or injury and practice basic bandaging. 

This is an excellent course for all children whether they have a pet dog of their own or they interact with dogs at other people's homes or out in public. 

A workbook and a certificate of completion are included in this course.
