Welcome back to the Race and Social Policy Film Screening Series! We are excited to kick off this semester with a powerful documentary, I Am Not Your Negro. This film explores the complexities of systemic racism and the struggle for social justice in the U.S. through the poignant words of writer James Baldwin, offering vital insights into the ongoing struggle for racial equality and justice.
This screening is open to all—students, staff, and anyone interested in engaging with critical discussions about race, power, and social policy. Following the film, we will host a discussion to reflect on its themes and their significance in today’s society.
