The ‘Games of Life’ participants will be transformed into mobile game pieces in the ‘Game of Life’! Discover the ‘Bare Necessities’ needed for life while rotating around the ‘Life’ board, completing activities that correlate to a classic board game. Bullying, friendship skills, recognizing our ‘smarts’, how to give and receive an apology and mean girls are a few of the topics we will explore.Over the course of the day students will discover the answers to the five core needs (bare necessities) for life. Security: Who can I trust? Identity: Who am I? Belonging: Who wants me? Purpose: Why am I alive? Competence: What and I good at? This knowledge is transformative and will empower your teen to navigate some of the common and uncommon challenges of ‘Life’.
This a fast paced, highly interactive and exceedingly fun day for middle school girls will not want to miss! Mom is welcome to attend, but not required. :)
The cost, which includes snacks, lunch and goodies, is $25.00 and partial $10.00 scholarships are available. (Maximum of 2 scholarships per family. Maximum fee for families with more than one student, $50.00. Mom’s are always FREE!) Please register by 7/30/21.
