Äntligen är det dags för en ny termin i Uppsala! Vill du sjunga i en nationskör med hög ambition? Uppskattar du studentlivet och trevligt umgänge? Då bör du söka till Smålands Nations Vokalensemble!
Höstterminens insjungningar kommer att ske den 19 och 20 september på Smålands nation i Uppsala.
Till hösten söker vi främst sångare till Sopran 1, Alt 1, Tenor 2 och Bas 2, men vi uppmuntrar alla att skicka in en ansökan - Kanske är det just DIG vi söker!

Smålands Nations Vokalensemble är en mindre, blandad ensemble som sjunger en varierad repertoar – allt från klassiska körstycken till moderna vokalgruppsarrangemang – under ledning av vår dirigent Viktor Olsson. Kören präglas av gemenskap och glädje och vi brinner för att framföra stämningsfylld musik av hög kvalitet. Hos oss får du möjlighet att utveckla din körsång i en trevlig och varm miljö!
Repetitioner sker på tisdagar kl. 18.30-21.00 på Smålands Nation i Uppsala. En termin hos SNVE brukar vara fylld av repetitioner, konserter, gig, underhållning på sittningar, en körhelg och inte minst köröl och andra sociala aktiviteter!🍻
HUR GÅR EN INSJUNGNING TILL?
Insjungningen tar ca 15 minuter och består av omfång- och gehörsprov, notläsning samt ensemblesång där du sjunger ett på förhand inövat stycke. De övriga stämmorna sjungs av tre medlemmar i kören. Du kommer även att framföra ett solostycke - detta stycke väljer du utifrån vad du själv tycker om att sjunga.

Smålands Nations Vokalensemble is a small, mixed-voice ensemble, led by our conductor Viktor Olsson. We have a varied repertoire, including classical music, folk music and modern a cappella music. SNVE is defined by a strong sense of togetherness and joy, and we are passionate about performing atmospheric, high-quality music. In our choir, you will have the opportunity to develop your choral singing in a warm environment.
We rehearse Tuesdays between 18.30-21.00/ 6.30 PM-9.00 PM at Smålands Nation in Uppsala. A semester with SNVE includes rehearsals, concerts, gigs, entertainment at dinner parties, ’choir beer’, choir-weekends and other social activities.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE AUDITION?
The audition takes about 15 minutes and consists of range and aural tests, sight singing and ensemble singing where you sing a pre-rehearsed piece. The other voices of the piece are sung by three members of the choir. You will also preform a solo song - you choose this song based on what you like to sing.
HOW DO I AUDITION?
Register to audition by filling out the linked form.
After you have filled out the form, we will get back with more information: time for your audition and sheet music for the ensemble pieces. This will be sent to your email address.
