For the autumn edition of the Hyper Real series, Nikki Nair delivers an exhilarating mix of poppy house anthems and bottom-heavy club bangers on Saturday, October 26.
Producer and DJ Nikki Nair has proved himself as a respected new voice in the landscape of hybridized dance music. Nair’s productions encompass a multitude of club genres, highlighting his ability to effortlessly fuse techno with various elements of adjacent UK dance genres into a sound that is uniquely his own. His tracks found home on labels such as labels such as Warp Records, Future Classic, Studio Barnhaus, VISION, Pineapple, and Pretty Weird among others. His technique as a DJ is equally as impressive as his production ability, he is cross-genre blending, braiding techno, UKG, breakbeats and more with dexterous ease. Seasoned by the underground DIY party USA scene, Nair is no stranger to curating an atmosphere poised to move and mesmerize dancefloors.
Lucero Gamerro aka Rattlesnakke is a music producer, DJ and vocalist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. The main characteristic of her project is to fuse different dance rhythms, in the framework of electronic and urban music. Kembe will be a local support. As always, the night will be completed by Hyper Real’s curator Opium Hum, one of the most prominent bass faces behind Boiler Room and the CTM festival.
