Written by Anthony Bodden, Nas, and director Hype Williams, Belly is an endlessly stylish film that buckles audiences into the backseat of a ‘97 Mercedes Benz driven by hip-hop legends Nas and the late DMX, as they wind their way through a haze of religious awakenings and criminal business.
With unforgettable visuals by cinematographer Malik Hassan Sayeed (Clockers, He Got Game, Beyoncé: Formation), Belly was praised upon its release for its highly stylized neo-noir look.
