Through these works, Emilie and Clemente explore love, partnership, ambition, and the realities behind the music. What did it mean to be a woman composing in the 19th century? Whose voices were heard — and whose were overlooked?
Having performed together for many years, Emilie and Clemente bring warmth, honesty, and deep connection to this program. The evening is both a celebration of extraordinary female composers and a reflection on what it means to be a woman in music — then and now.
