Course Description:
Periodontal disease affects half of American adults, a statistic that has remained unchanged for many years. Although providers have numerous adjunct procedures to support periodontal treatment in the dental office, homecare options have largely stayed the same. The use of locally delivered hydrogen peroxide has proven to be an effective daily at‑home option for managing periodontal disease.
Course Objectives:
During this free 1‑hour CE course, you will:
- Understand the role of bacteria in the development of gum disease
- Learn about the various systemic diseases that have been linked to periodontal pathogens
- Evaluate the effectiveness of hydrogen peroxide in combating oral bacteria
- Explore the ideal concentration of hydrogen peroxide and the most effective delivery mechanism for home use
- Understand the benefits and side effects of hydrogen peroxide use in dentistry

About the Presenter:
Brandon Granada has 15 years of dental industry experience working in a variety of roles including training, operations, human resources, and project management.
Brandon developed and introduced the first hygiene program at Sonrava Health, a national dental service organization, and spearheaded their implant and overdenture initiatives. Brandon is currently the Director of Special Projects at Arklign where he supports both DSO and private practice clients in implementing the latest innovations in dental care while also improving case acceptance rates.
In his free time, Brandon enjoys cycling, running, and spending time with his family.
