HYDRACAT WITH LANDLADY AND THE D.B. BUXTON EXPRESS
About this Event
Hydracat is an Edmonton stoner rock band blending heavy riffs, psychedelic textures, and bluesy grooves, with influences including Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Kyuss, and Sleep. Formed in 2020, the four-piece has built a strong local following through powerful vocals, a driving rhythm section, intricate guitar and keyboard work, and energetic live performances.
Landlady turns the everyday chaos of a three-story walk-up into gritty, cinematic alt-folk — spinning stories of busted radiators, lease violations, found family, and the strange poetry of tenant life. With years of friendship and musicianship binding every note, this Edmonton four-piece delivers raw, character-driven songs that feel like short films echoing through thin apartment walls.
Hailing from Toronto, The D.B. Buxton Express is a psychedelic blues-rock power trio featuring Canadian busking legend Daniel B. Buxton. His previous projects include The Orpheans, Seraphic Lights, and The D.B. Buxton Revue.
