CEO for a Day:
CEO for a Day is an individual business leadership competition designed to evaluate participants’ strategic thinking, leadership potential, decision-making abilities, communication skills, and professionalism. The segment aims to simulate the responsibilities of a Chief Executive Officer by placing participants in realistic corporate situations where they must demonstrate their ability to lead an organization through challenges and opportunities.
The competition consists of a single round in which every participant will perform a series of assigned tasks that reflect the day-to-day responsibilities of a CEO. These tasks are designed to assess a participant’s analytical thinking, confidence, problem-solving abilities, business acumen, adaptability, and executive presence. Participants will be expected to make informed decisions, justify their strategies, and communicate their ideas effectively before the judging panel.
A distinguished panel of judges will evaluate each participant based on leadership qualities, strategic planning, communication skills, decision-making, professionalism, creativity, confidence, and overall performance throughout the assigned tasks. The participant securing the highest overall score will be declared the winner of the segment.
The objective of CEO for a Day is to provide aspiring business leaders with a realistic executive experience while encouraging critical thinking, confidence under pressure, ethical leadership, and effective corporate decision-making. The segment challenges participants to demonstrate the qualities required to successfully lead an organization in today’s competitive business environment
Build A Firm: Build a Firm is a business simulation designed to test participants' entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making abilities. The segment is divided into two roles: Builders, who conceptualize and develop a firm, and Investors, who evaluate competing firms and identify the most promising opportunities for them to join the preferred firm.
On the initial round, Builders will establish their firms by developing a business concept, formulating strategies, and preparing a compelling pitch to showcase their potential as a promising firm to join in-front of the second side of participants, Aka, the Investors. The Investors then will use their own decision making skills and choose one particular firm to join each. After joining the Investors will work unitedly with the firm as a representative as well.
On this round , the builders or the firm that gets the least joiners will be eliminated from advancing to the final stage. The segment will go forward with the rest of firms with more joiners.
On 22nd August, Builders and Investors will collaborate to refine their firm's strategy and deliver a comprehensive presentation, showcasing their innovative ideas and potentiality to prosper in real corporate world through creative ideas , and both the builders and Investors–those who joined the firm the day before– will be working together to pitch the firm to the judges.
The firm with most marks will go forward as the winner of this segment.
The segment aims to provide participants with a realistic corporate experience by emphasising business development, teamwork, negotiation, critical evaluation, and persuasive communication. Ultimately, Build a Firm challenges participants to transform an idea into a compelling enterprise and prove that they possess the skills required to succeed in the modern business world.
