Emily Heil, the national food reporter for The Washington Post, has been a professional journalist since she got her first writing gig at her small hometown newspaper at the age of sixteen. She lives on Capitol Hill with her fellow-journalist husband and two cats and spends as much time as possible at her childhood home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
Rachel Kurzius is an award-winning journalist reporting on the way we live now, with bylines in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, NPR, Vox, and more. Whether she is investigating a 17-year lawsuit between a Trump official and his interior designers or exploring the glorious burden of collecting glass jars, she seeks out stories that intrigue and inform in equal measure.
