Hyacinth Flowers: Foiled Paper Fun Workshop

This is a great workshop if you are just starting out or have been crafting for years! You'll be playing with a product that you have probably never seen before- double sided foiled paper! This is a German crafting paper that is not easily available in the US. It holds its shape incredibly well and is very fun to work with.

Participants will learn how to transform 2-D foiled paper into 3-D flowers! Each participant will make a bouquet of flowers home to enjoy for years to come. You can put them in a vase or use them to decorate cards. Once you learn how to make the hyacinth, you can apply the same foiled paper techniques to create so many other projects!

This workshop is appropriate for ages 11+ only. Minors do not have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the workshop. Adults must come inside to drop their child off with the workshop instructor. Drop off begins 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, and everyone must be picked up at the scheduled end of the workshop.

About the Instructor

Diane is an army brat who grew up with a German mother and was introduced to this amazing German foiled paper and the art of making beautiful ornaments with it. She has been making holiday stars for friends and family with it ever since she can remember and has had a dream of sharing it with everyone else. She has also learned a lot about new ways to use this very versatile foiled paper for crafting, scrapbooking and home decor and hopes to spark your creativity with it. She hopes to teach as many workshops as there is interest at ACR.
