“Hvordan kom vi hit?” Episode 2: Oslove — Art Exhibition (oslokulturnatt.no)/

How do we find our place—and what makes a city feel like home?
Join us during Oslo Culture Night for the opening of “Hvordan kom vi hit?” Episode 2: Oslove, a multicultural group exhibition exploring identity, migration and belonging through art.
The exhibition presents paintings, drawings and sculptures by Elwin Bradshaw, Léa Nasnas and other participating artists. Through different artistic perspectives and personal experiences, the works reflect on what it means to arrive, adapt, belong and build a home in Oslo.
“Hvordan kom vi hit?” is an exhibition series initiated by curator Kristina Dziedzic Wright. The series brings artists and communities together through collaborative art projects centred on identity, migration and belonging.
The exhibition takes place at Welhavens Studio Galleri, a new multicultural art centre founded by Léa Nasnas. The gallery places particular emphasis on the therapeutic, inclusive and connecting power of art.
SPECIAL ACTIVITY — JAPANESE CALLIGRAPHY WORKSHOP
From 18:00 to 21:00, artist Elwin Bradshaw will invite visitors to take part in a 四字熟語 (yojijukugo) workshop.
Yojijukugo are traditional Japanese expressions composed of four characters. Visitors will have an opportunity to explore and draw Japanese calligraphy during the evening.
No previous experience is required.

ABOUT THE ORGANISERS
Welhavens Studio Galleri is a new multicultural art centre in Oslo established by artist Léa Nasnas. Its programme highlights the therapeutic and inclusive power of art and creates space for artistic encounters across cultures and personal histories.
