About this Event

This year's theme is talking about how taking care of the land and taking care of ourselves go hand in hand. When we nourish our roots we honor the people who came before us and learn how to keep that same energy going today. Sustainability means growing your own food, having food responsibility, learning to be self-sufficient and understanding our food system. The panelists will feature farmers and community gardeners, and healers who talk about what it means to grow food, heal the body and care for the planet.

Tickets bought will be for Friday Novermber 14th.

On November 15th, HUWEA in collbration with HUSA will be packaging and serving food for the dc community. This event will be free to whoemever want to volunteer.
