Hutchinson Community College Fire Science invites high school juniors and seniors to participate in our bi-annual High School Field Day focused on teamwork, physical challenges, and hands-on activities inspired by the fire service.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
• Suit up in bunker gear
• Advance a hose line and flow water on a live fire
• Crawl through our search house and experience search & rescue conditions
• Watch vehicle extrication in action
• Learn how EMS fits into the fire service
• Explore wildland firefighting and career options
• Meet current Fire Science students and instructors
Lunch will be provided!
