Hurry up & Wait + Sister 4 $ale Premiere

We are premiering the short film "Hurry Up & Wait", directed by Miguel Corado, and written and starring Jamila C. Gray. We also are honored to premiere the pilot of episode of "Sister 4 $ale", created by Marlena Robinson and Cassandra Buchanan, also directed by Miguel Corado. Each screening will be followed by a Q&A led by Queen Isis.

Info: Sister For Sale is a dramedy about estranged sisters Jade and Sapphire, forced to live together when their parents’ messy divorce leads to the sale of their family  home.

In the pilot, Jade’s unexpected return disrupts Sapphire’s big job interview, leading to a chaotic day involving a botched ride, a wild gas station altercation, and a party that spirals out of control. Set in Atlanta, Sister For Sale explores ambition, self-discovery, and the complexities of sisterhood with humor and heart.
