The League City Office of Emergency Management is hosting the third annual Hurricane Preparedness and Safety Fair in collaboration with Galveston County, Dickinson, Kemah, and Webster. The fair will take place on Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center located at 400 West Walker Street. The FREE event is designed to help residents prepare for hurricane season, which runs from June 1 to November 30. The fair will feature door prizes, a touch-a-truck event with emergency response vehicles, face painting, preparedness vendors, kids' activities, music, free food, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from local emergency management agencies, learn about evacuation routes, and gather important preparedness and safety information.
