Hunter's Full Supermoon Sound Bath BY DONATION

Each month at Ottawa Community Energy Healing we offer a limited number of Sound Bath Sessions by donation. This month we are celebrating Ocotber's Hunter Full Supermoon ?

It is believed that the name of this Full Moon originates from the fact that it was a signal for hunters to prepare for the upcoming cold winter by going hunting. This is because animals were beginning to fatten up in preparation for the winter season. Fields had recently been cleared out under the Harvest Moon allowing hunters to more easily spot deer and other animals that had come out to search for remaining scraps.

October’s Hunter Full Supermoon brings with it themes of gratitude, transitions/changes, exploring shadowwork, and preservation. We will explore all these things through tapping into our senses with soothing sound. This moon orbits closer to Earth than any of the other Full Moons this year, marking one of the four Supermoons of 2024!

The full moon symbolizes a time of release, completion, and heightened emotions. It is the perfect time to reflect inwards to determine the things that no longer serve you so you release them and call in your desires and intentions for the coming month.

What is a sound bath?
A sound bath is a meditative experience where attendees are “bathed” in sound waves. The sound waves are produced by various healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, the human voice itself, & more. The sound waves don't necessarily have a catchy melody or rhythm like you may have experienced at a concert or listening to the radio but, instead, they are a carefully selected wash of instrument and voice with notable resonance and overtones aiming to help ease listeners into relaxation and help balance their energy.
