Whether you have just moved into our neighborhood or you are a long-time Highland resident, this event is your chance to expand your social circle. Do you want to get to know your neighbor? Looking for a doggy play date? A pickleball partner? How to make tamales? Where can you learn Spanish? Or share your summer harvest? 

This speed social is for you to cultivate neighborhood connections. Everyone will be paired up and have 7 minutes to chit-chat. When time is up, you will rotate to your next neighbor. We will do enough rounds so that you get to meet quite a few folks. To maximize a chattering atmosphere, we will provide conversation starters. In the spirit of community, we want you to continue the conversation beyond our event. We will be sharing free beverage coupons generously provided by our local businesses; we encourage you to invite a neighbor to try a local spot with you. Maybe you get a coffee, maybe a drink. Ultimately, you will land a connection.
