Le Goethe-Institut consacre un projet en ligne aux multiples facettes au concept d'arrêt/d’immobilité (Stillstand), où cet état très particulier et sa subtile poésie sont explorés dans de nombreuses contributions d'artistes et d'auteurs internationaux.

Dans son film teinté d'autobiographie, Jutta Brückner montre la jeune fille Ursula Scheumann qui, à l'âge de 13 ans, commence à douter du monde idéal des adultes et de l'ère Adenauer. Après ses premières menstruations, elle perçoit d'autant plus clairement sa sexualité naissante ainsi que l'hostilité sexuelle de sa mère. En même temps, elle découvre que son père a une liaison et qu'il est également hypocrite d'un point de vue politique. Avec ses questions et ses doutes, elle ne récolte cependant qu'un silence ignorant.

The Goethe-Institut is dedicating a multifaceted online project to the concept of stillness (Stillstand), where this very special state and its subtle poetry are explored in numerous contributions by international artists and authors.

In her autobiographically tinged film, Jutta Brückner shows the girl Ursula Scheumann, who at the age of 13 begins to doubt the ideal world of adults and the Adenauer era. After her first menstruation, she perceives her awakening sexuality as well as her mother's sexual hostility all the more clearly. At the same time, she discovers that her father is having an affair and is also a hypocrite from a political point of view.
