Join us for Hungarian Harvest Festival at Scandinavia House in New York City. Hosted by the Tulipán Foundation, this free, family-friendly event will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, and will celebrate the sights, sounds, and flavors of Hungary’s harvest season.
Guests can take part in interactive winemaking, sample traditional Hungarian foods including pogácsa and strudel, and enjoy performances by Hungarian folk musicians. Adults are welcome to participate in a wine tasting curated by Palinkerie and led by wine expert and ethnographer László Mód, featuring award-winning selections from Benedek Winery and Tibor Gál.
The afternoon will also include craft demonstrations in woodcarving and leatherwork by students from the Nádudvar Folk Handicrafts Vocational High School, as well as a display of woven baskets created by Tulipán grantee Márta Legeza.
