Attention crafty readers: Hummingbird now has a book club!
Join us for the very first meeting of the Hummingbird Readers Club, a monthly gathering for people who love reading and making things. We plan to meet the last Saturday of each month at Quad Coffee Lab.
First up: A Stash of One's Own by Clara Parkes, a collection of essays about why we collect yarn, what we cherish, and how we let go. From minimalist to joyful hoarder, designer to dyer, these stories celebrate the "stash" in all its meaning.
Grab the book, bring your current project if you like, and come discuss it over sips and nibbles with fellow crafty readers.
