A Bridge Between Italy and Vietnam Through Electronic Music
We are excited to present Connessione, a cultural initiative designed to connect Italy and Vietnam through the universal language of music. Scheduled for January 19 in Hanoi, this project combines artistic innovation with community engagement, offering a unique platform for collaboration between two extraordinary artists—Marco Maldarella and Trinh Minh—and Vietnam’s dynamic music scene.
Overview
Connessione comprises an interactive workshop and a mini-festival that celebrate the convergence of different creative worlds:
Marco Maldarella (Italy): An acclaimed innovator in sound modulation and experimental sound design, Maldarella crafts immersive electronic landscapes that challenge and redefine techno’s boundaries.
Trinh Minh (Vietnam): A veteran and pioneer in Vietnam’s music scene, Minh is a versatile artist whose work spans electronic experimentation, classical music, and traditional Vietnamese influences. His creative projects highlight the rich heritage of Vietnamese music, bridging it with modern forms to create a unique sonic identity.
Concept
At its core, Connessione explores the intersection of two distinct artistic philosophies:
