Human Services and Vocational Education & Training - Sector Insider lunch

Leaders and practitioners in human resources and learning and development roles in the human services sector, and educators and faculty in human services fields from registered training organisations are invited to an exclusive insider series event, hosted by Community Skills WA (CSWA) and the Human Services Skills Organisation (HSSO).

From 10.00am until 12.00pm join us for an overview and discussion about the challenges and opportunities for workforce and skills development in the human services sector.

Caroline Thompson, Executive Director CSWA will introduce the session and highlight CSWA’s priorities. Jodi Schmidt, Chief Executive Officer HSSO will provide an overview of current labour market trends and discuss some of the challenges and solutions the sector is facing in terms of skills and workforce development. Jodi will discuss the projects and resources developed by the HSSO in-depth and invite discussion from all attendees around how we can work together to strengthen the human services workforce and training system.

Stay with us after the formal presentations and discussion for a networking lunch from 12.00 to 1.00pm.
