Join the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo as we recognize Human Rights Day.

On Wednesday, December 10th, the MCA will be hosting a Human Rights Day Conversation Café in partnership with the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo to discuss the theme of "Accessibility as a vital Human Right". The event will feature a panel community members top discuss the theme as well as a tour of the new Arts for Social Change Exhibit

The schedule will be as follows:

Networking and Dinner at 5pm - 5:45pm

The exhibit tour will start at 5:45pm - 7pm

Panel Discussion at 7pm - 8:30pm

This is a free event to attend, however registration is required as space is limited.

Every year, on December 10 since 1948, when the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the United Nations observes Human Rights Day. This day acknowledges the entitled rights to everyone as a human being – regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth, or status.
