Come join us for the Human Library at the Cincinnati Museum Center. Choose a human “book” from our library and get 30 minutes to sit down one-on-one and ask them anything.
This event is hosted by the Cincinnati Public Library and the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center as a part of the Upstander Weekend. Learn more about the Upstander Weekend at https://www.holocaustandhumanity.org/events/upstander-weekend/.
The Human Library is designed to provide a safe space and a conversational framework for Readers to challenge stereotypes in dialogue with our Human Books. The Human Library is a place where difficult questions are expected, appreciated, and answered. Check out one or several of our Human Books, hear their lived experiences in areas of prejudice, stigma, or stereotyping, challenge your assumptions, ask questions especially the hard ones you’d feel uncomfortable asking in ordinary conversation.
