Human Library at Mud Creek Players

At a Human Library you’ll engage in courageous and fascinating conversations! This FREE event offers an opportunity to learn more about diverse populations through conversations where you borrow "A Human Book" and have a conversation with the Book about their story. Come and "unjudge someone," ask questions, possibly learn something new, and likely talk to someone you normally would not have the opportunity to meet otherwise. Our Books are people who have lived experiences of stereotyping, biases, and prejudices that include marginalization in our society. Come to a Human Library at Mud Creek Theater on Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 1-4pm and check out a Human Book. Talk to them about how they have navigated stereotyping, bias, and prejudice. Difficult questions are expected, appreciated, and answered. At a Human Library, you will have this opportunity. In this safe place, you have a chance to examine and explore your own conscious and subconscious biases.
