About this Event
How can we rebuild trust in public service, when resources are tight ?
What does public service look like, when it is organised to respond to the strengths and needs of the people it serves?
How can we create the radical change we need, rooted in the practical reality of day to day public service?
Human Learning Systems is an approach to public management which seeks to answer these questions. It has been created by thousands of public servants around the world experimenting, and learning together.
The Human Learning System Collaborative are delighted to invite you to an exclusive in person event hosted by the Policy Evaluation & Research Unit (PERU) at Manchester Metropolitan University and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority. We will share learning from our latest report Radical Pragmatism: the new summary of Human Learning Systems principles and practice .
We will explore how the Human Learning Systems approach to public management enables devolved administrations in the UK to serve their citizens better.
You will hear from:
- Hannah Hesselgreaves, Professor of Public Service Reform and Director of PERU
- Toby Lowe, Professor of Public Management at Manchester Metropolitan University
- Eve Holt, Head of Policy and Implementation at the Greater Manchester Combined Authority
- Lee Tilman, Executive Director for Policy, Partnerships & Investment, City of Doncaster Council
Plus additional special guests, and the opportunity to connect with other change makers.
Tickets are strictly limited. Please ensure you register for your ticket as soon as possible, this will help us to ensure access for as many people as possible.
