About this Event

Old Growth Forest of the Endor Moon - A Star Wars Themed Forest!
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, beings remembered the restorative power of touch.
Using the Force of ether and the elements they wielded the power to give each other the essence of love and devotion.
In no place was this Force of nature more felt and harnessed than on the Forest planet of Endor. Trees and creatures of the Forest were in utter harmony.

But where there is light, there is also darkness looming. The forces of the Emperor would seek to take what they wished from this peace loving planet. As they descend and begin their invasion, the creatures and Rebel Forces of Endor must battle to maintain their own boundaries while still receiving the life-giving sustenance of touch.
By wonder of a tear in the time space continuum, this forested planet is set to appear at the sacred temple of Centre of You in South Yarra on the auspicious day - May the 4th (be with you!)
So come embrace your inner Eewok, your inner Wookie, be the Jedi you always wanted to be or find your darkness as a Sith.

Assume the identity of any character you wish to embody and enter the Old Growth Forest on the planet of Endor.

WHAT IS AN OLD GROWTH HUMAN FOREST?

Where our standard forests are an introduction to new participants, this Forest honours the wisdom and experience of participants that have attended at least 3 of our Forests.
Names will be checked against our ticket lists for previous events to ensure that only experienced trees and critters are in attendance.
There will be far less talk, and far more touch! You will have more time in the Forest experience and in the connection exercises.

WHERE ARE THE PROFITS GOING?

This year a portion of our profits are going towards the EPOCH GROVE Reforestation Project. This project has been planting trees on Taungurung land near Heathcote, VIC.

IMPORTANT:

  • In this event we focus on devotional, loving and non-sexually oriented touch. Note: there is no genitalia touch at this event but breast and bum touch will be allowed (with the consent of the tree of course.
  • All our events have been remarkably healing and opening for many participants, as seen in the testimonials above.
  • This event will explore more of the giving and taking energies of touch.

Patrick Blooming

Patrick is one of the co-founders of the Human Forest Project and has been holding Human Forests for over 3 years now. From its humble beginnings in a warehouse apartment in Melbourne, Victoria, the Forests have now been running internationally from Lisbon to London.

His emphasis is on holding and recognising the balance between being playful and serious to create spaces that make you feel completely at ease but courageous enough to explore your edges. He believes in collaboratively building 'Brave Spaces', encouraging active self-responsibility while supporting participants every step of the way to recognise their own needs and be as authentic as they possibly can be.

Things to note:

Bring:

  • Your costume! Let’s have fun with this- lightsabers are welcome!
  • An indoor plant to contribute to the Forest and create a jungle to frolic within
  • Props - in this forest you will have more toys to play with to enhance the experience of touch
  • Some nibbles and/or drinks to share with others at the end
  • An open mind
  • Any friends that might be interested! ;)
