The Human Forest Loving Touch Experience: Connecting you to yourself, others, and the land beneath your feet.
About this Event

Welcome to the Human Forest Touch Revolution!

We create unique experiences for you to give and receive the nourishing touch we all need in sweet, fun and well-held environments.
WHAT IS A HUMAN FOREST?

A Human Forest Loving Touch Experience is a human ecosystem connected by consensual, loving touch.

Half of the room will be 'trees' who will be blindfolded and receive loving, devotional touch from the other half of the room (the critters). You will have the opportunity to experience being both a tree and a critter.

We first teach about the consent and boundary agreements we have as a group, and introduce warm-up activities before enjoying the Human Forest.

These events can be powerful, healing opportunities for participants to experience intimacy and joy. Our priority to supporting participants to leave our events feeling opened, cared for and loved.

Come be part of a movement awakening people to the joy-filled, healing and restorative power of touch.

THEME FOR OUR JANUARY HUMAN FOREST

THE SYMPHONY OF TOUCH AND FEELING

Our March theme captures the interconnected magic of music, emotions, and touch, inviting you to immerse yourself in a sensory experience where melodies move the heart, touch heals the soul, and feelings flow freely.

The evening will feature a curated selection of music designed to stir the heart, awaken memories, and inspire joy, sorrow, hope, or serenity. Each piece will guide participants through an emotional landscape, creating space for them to explore and share what arises. Paired with intentional, mindful touch—be it grounding, nurturing, or playful—the music becomes not just something we hear but something we feel together.

Come as you are, and leave feeling enriched, inspired, and more deeply connected to the magic of your feelings.

PROFIT FOR PURPOSE LAND REGENERATION PROMISE

Turning Human Touch into Trees

In our first 3 years of operation as the Human Forest Project in Melbourne Australia, we raised over $17,000AUD to regenerate land. This was our way of turning human touch into trees through community tree planting gatherings and partnering with permaculture and Natural Sequence Farming Techniques.

Now that we are in Bristol, we will be banking up a portion of all profits from events to donate to the local SUGi Forest. Their goal is to reimagine urban cities with pocket forests.

To find out more about them here, see: https://www.sugiproject.com/

So a portion of all your tickets will go towards the SUGi Project forests, cool huh!?

WHAT HAVE OTHERS SAID ABOUT THE HUMAN FOREST?

"Can we please do this every day!?"

"This is like 4 therapy sessions in one workshop!"

"I have never felt so supported in my life."

"I felt like honey melting down a warm stove."

"I spend sooooo much time in my head, now I can actually feel my body"

"I can't believe people can share so much intimacy with so much reverence and respect for each other."

"Why isn't this NORMAL?!"

IMPORTANT

  • In this event we focus on devotional, loving and non-sexually oriented touch. Note: there is no genitalia touch at this event.
  • All our events have been remarkably healing and opening for many participants, as seen in the testimonials above.
  • That being said, this is a touch-focused event. If you have active trauma related to receiving or giving touch, please be in touch with us directly to seriously consider whether this event is right for you.
  • Participants are required to be on time to ensure they understand how to communicate their boundaries with clarity and respect via the consent and boundaries section at the commencement of the event.
    ABOUT YOUR FACILITATORS
    Patrick Blooming
Patrick is one of the co-founders of the Human Forest Project and has been holding and organising Human Forests for over 3 years now. From its humble beginnings in a warehouse apartment in Melbourne, Victoria, the Forests have now been running internationally from Lisbon to London.
His emphasis is on holding and recognising the balance between being playful and serious, creating spaces that make you feel completely at ease but courageous enough to explore your edges. He believes in collaboratively building 'Brave Spaces', encouraging active self-responsibility while supporting participants every step of the way to recognise their own needs and be as authentic as they possibly can be.
Patrick has also been a songwriter/ musician for over 15 years and brings live music and group singing to connect people to their own voices and musicality during his workshops.
    Anatolia H. Karteras
Hi everyone - I'm Anatolia and I love the beauty and deep relaxation that I feel and witness in Human Forests. They really are special experiences and my life wouldn't be the same without them.
I am a counsellor, writer, artist, meditation teacher and facilitator and more, and I've been running Human Forests for 5 years and transformational events for 10 years. It gives me a sweet joy seeing and feeling people at Human Forests touch those special places inside we rarely give ourselves time for, and emerge feeling enlivened and hopeful to really live life with eyes wide open, cheeks flushed rosy and breath deep and grounded.
I'm looking forward to meeting you!

BRING WITH YOU

  • Comfortable clothing
  • Some snacky nibbles (chocolate, chips, crackers, dips, fruit, canape type things) and/or drinks to share with others at the end
  • An open mind and heart
  • Any friends that might be interested!

ARRIVAL TIME
Endeavour to arrive on time between 4:30 - 4:45. To preserve the experience for all involved, doors will close at 4:45. Truly, it breaks our heart to have to turn latecomers away but the disruption to the whole group experience by virtue of lateness does require management.
We ask that you find understanding and consideration for the timebound nature of the container and make every effort to arrive on time.
REFUND POLICY
We do not offer refunds for this event. If you cannot attend it is your responsibility to either contact us so that you can use your ticket for a future event, or sell the ticket to someone else.
