The dance between connection with others and being with ourselves is the fundamental dance of life.
If we avoid one, we suffer in the other.
Someone who runs from aloneness ends up in co-dependence, leading to all sorts of strife.
Someone who runs from connection ends up in isolation, having their needs for intimacy left unfulfilled.
In intimacy work we learn to embrace both in equal measure. Human Forest is a unique opportunity to explore the contrasts between the two poles, and discover what each brings up within yourself. In doing so, we gain the tools to navigate the dance with grace.
What is Human Forest?
An experience guided by trained facilitators, the Human Forest Adelaide provides participants with a nourishing space to enjoy the pleasures of giving and receiving touch while simultaneously exploring their inner world. Human Forest focuses on sensual, rather than sexual, touch.
Playful and explorative, these events can be powerful and safe healing opportunities for participants to experience layers of the Self that have otherwise been buried.
Our priority is to support participants and create containers for healing, growth, transformation, intimacy and joy.
The Human Forest Adelaide takes place monthly, cultivating a like-minded community of people eager to regain what has been lost in today’s touch-adverse society.
Who are the facilitators?
Lloyd is a professional counsellor, passionate about intimacy work and conscious communication. He believes in the healing power of connection and helps people confidently navigate this space.
Louise is a passionate facilitator dedicated to providing safe containers where exploration of self and healing can take place. Louise believes in the power of awareness through presence and strongly advocates for the modern world to follow suit, remembering how to access internal bliss over the external chase.
