Österreich - Indien. Donau - Ganges. Das Projekt “Human Disaster - A Confluence”, welches Teil des Förderprogrammes “Internationale Musikdialoge des BMEIA” ist, verbindet das Duo Legner/Rofner mit Sanjeev Shankar - Vibraphon und Kontrabass mit Shehnai - Ost mit West. Als Grundlage der musikalischen Begegnung dienen die Flüsse und verschiedene Eindrücke zu den Gewässern, musikalische Aufarbeitungen und soziale sowie spirituelle Relevanz.
Das Projekt behandelt das Thema in musikalischer als auch filmischer/visueller Weise und wird 2022 als Musikfilm und Album veröffentlicht. Das Konzert ist ein Eindruck aus der Arbeitsphase und der ersten Live-Zusammenarbeit jenseits der digitalen Welt - ein Aufflammen der “neuen alten Normalität”.

Human Disaster - A Confluence
Austria - India. The Danube - the Ganges. The project "Human Disaster - A Confluence", which is part of the funding program "International Music Dialogues of the BMEIA", connects the duo Legner/Rofner with Sanjeev Shankar - vibraphone and double bass with Shenhai - East with West. The basis of the musical encounter are the rivers and various impressions of the waters, musical processing, and social and spiritual relevance.
The project deals with the topic in a musical as well as cinematic/visual way and will be released as a music film and album in 2022. The concert is an impression from the working phase and the first live collaboration beyond the digital world - a flare-up of the "new old normal".
